I’m thrilled to share an incredible conversation I had with a man whose life is a testament to the supernatural power of God—Pastor Timothy Quackenbos, affectionately known as Brother Tim. If you’ve ever wondered what it looks like to walk in the prophetic, experience signs and wonders, and live a life fully surrendered to Jesus, this is for you.
Introduction: A Divine Encounter
Let me start by sharing how I first met Brother Tim. It’s one of those God-incidences (not coincidences) that still blows my mind. My wife, Susan, and I were at a gas station in Petrey when we saw a flyer for a tent revival. We decided to go, and that’s where we first encountered Brother Tim. He received a prophetic word for us that night, and from there, our paths kept crossing. It was clear that God was orchestrating our connection.
Fast forward to today, and I’m sitting down with Brother Tim to dive deep into his extraordinary journey of faith. His life is marked by miracles, healings, and a relentless pursuit of God’s presence. If you’re hungry for a deeper spiritual relationship with Jesus, this interview will inspire and challenge you.
The Early Years: A Call at Age 10
One of the most fascinating parts of Brother Tim’s story is how he was called by God at just 10 years old. Imagine that—a child hearing from God in such a profound way! He shared how the devil actually appeared to him in his bedroom, and the fear of that encounter drove him to Christ.
“I saw the devil’s face, and my brother saw his body. I crawled to my mom’s room and told her I wanted to get saved. She led me to Christ that night.”
Isn’t it amazing how God can use even the enemy’s schemes to draw us closer to Him? This moment marked the beginning of Brother Tim’s lifelong journey of faith.
Baptized in the Holy Spirit: A Prophetic Calling
Not long after his salvation, Brother Tim was baptized in the Holy Spirit while hanging clothes on a clothesline in Sarasota, Florida. He began speaking in tongues and heard God’s voice clearly, calling him to a life of ministry.
“God told me what I would be doing, even what I’m doing now. He said I would see the dead raised to life and the book of Acts alive in my life.”
This prophetic calling has been the driving force behind Brother Tim’s ministry. He’s seen dead people raised to life, miraculous healings, and countless lives transformed by the power of Jesus.
Signs and Wonders: The Mark of a Believer
One of the things I admire most about Brother Tim is his unwavering belief in the signs and wonders that should follow believers. He often references Mark 16:17-18 (KJV), where Jesus says:
“And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”
Brother Tim’s life is a living testimony to these verses. He’s seen demons cast out, healings, and even a man raised from the dead in Haiti.
Raising the Dead: A Miracle in Haiti
One of the most powerful stories Brother Tim shared was about a man in Haiti who had been practicing voodoo against him. This man collapsed into a coma and eventually died. When Brother Tim arrived at the house, the Holy Spirit told him it was time to raise the dead.
“I laid on the dead body, put my nose on his nose, and commanded him to rise in Jesus’ name. The next thing I knew, I was standing, and he was looking me in the eye.”
Today, that man is a worship leader in their church. From pronouncing curses to leading worship—only God can do that!
Discerning God’s Voice: Keys to Spiritual Growth
Another topic we explored was how to discern God’s voice. Brother Tim emphasized the importance of knowing Scripture and being obedient to what God says.
“If it agrees with Scripture, it’s God. If Jesus did it, we can do it. If Jesus said don’t do it, we don’t do it.”
He also shared how confirmation plays a key role in discerning God’s will. Just like Gideon asked for signs, we too can seek confirmation when we’re unsure.
Why Don’t We See More Miracles in America?
This is a question many of us have asked. Brother Tim believes it’s largely due to false teaching and a lack of faith.
“In Haiti and Serbia, people trust God because if He doesn’t heal them, they’ll die. In America, we’ve been taught to trust doctors and medicine instead of God.”
He challenged us to examine our own lives and ask: Are we truly believing God for the impossible?
Personal Reflections: Walking in Faith
As I listened to Brother Tim’s stories, I was reminded of my own journey. In 1995, I had a powerful encounter with God where He told me to “read the instructions”—meaning the Bible. Over the years, I’ve learned that the more we immerse ourselves in God’s Word, the clearer His voice becomes.
Brother Tim’s life is a testament to what happens when we take God at His Word and step out in faith, even when it looks ridiculous. You have probably heard, “You’ve got to be willing to look stupid for Jesus.”
If there’s one thing I hope you take away from this, it’s this: God is still in the miracle business. He’s the same yesterday, today, and forever. Whether you’re facing a seemingly impossible situation or simply longing for a deeper relationship with Jesus, don’t settle for less than what God has promised.
I encourage you to:
1. Dive into Scripture and let it shape your faith.
2. Seek mentors who walk in the signs of a believer.
3. Step out in faith, even when it feels uncomfortable.
Thank you for joining me on this journey. If this post resonated with you, please share it with your friends and family. Let’s spread the good news that Jesus is alive and still working miracles today!
Tucker Carlson's Night Terror: A Biblical Analysis of Demonic Attacks
Hey there, fellow seekers of truth! It's Conrad from ConradRocks.Net, and today we're diving into a topic that's been making waves in the mainstream media - Tucker Carlson's encounter with a demonic night terror. As someone who's experienced and studied supernatural phenomena for years, I'm here to shed some light on this eye-opening event and offer a biblical perspective on spiritual warfare.
The Shocking Revelation: Tucker Carlson's Demonic Encounter
When I first heard about Tucker Carlson's interview regarding his demonic night terror experience, I was both intrigued and concerned. It's not every day that a prominent public figure openly discusses such a deeply personal and supernatural encounter. Let's break down what happened and why it matters.
Tucker described waking up in the middle of the night, unable to breathe and feeling like he was being suffocated. When he finally managed to turn on the lights, he discovered claw marks on his body - physical evidence of a spiritual attack. This, my friends, is a classic case of a demonic night terror, distinct from the more common sleep paralysis.
What's particularly striking about Tucker's experience is that his wife and dogs, who were in the bed with him, didn't wake up during the attack. This phenomenon of others remaining asleep during supernatural encounters is something I've observed in many cases, and it raises questions about how the enemy operates during these attacks.
Demonic Night Terrors vs. Sleep Paralysis: Understanding the Difference
As someone who's dealt with demonic attacks and helps others overcome them, I can tell you that there's a crucial difference between demonic night terrors and sleep paralysis. While sleep paralysis is a physiological phenomenon that affects about 8% of the population, demonic night terrors are spiritual attacks that often leave physical marks - just like in Tucker's case.
Sleep paralysis typically involves:
Temporary inability to move or speak
Feeling of pressure on the chest
Hallucinations or sensing a presence in the room
Demonic night terrors, on the other hand, can include:
Physical marks or injuries
Intense feelings of evil or oppression
Supernatural phenomena (like objects moving)
A clear sense of a malevolent presence
In my book, "Overcoming Night Terror: Making the Demons Leave," I dive deep into these differences and provide biblical strategies for protection and deliverance. It's essential to understand that these attacks are real and can happen to anyone, regardless of their fame or status.
Historical Context of Demonic Attacks
Tucker's experience isn't an isolated incident. Throughout history, there have been documented cases of similar supernatural attacks. Let me share a few notable examples:
Clarita Villa Nueva (1953): This 17-year-old girl in Manila experienced terrifying demonic attacks that left physical bite marks on her body. These marks were witnessed by medical specialists and even the mayor of Manila.
Doris Bither Case (1974): This case, which inspired the movie "The Entity," involved a woman who experienced physical attacks, including bruises and scratches. Researchers even witnessed her levitate during poltergeist activity.
Roland Doe Case (1940s): This is the case that inspired "The Exorcist." The young boy experienced various supernatural phenomena, including levitation and physical marks on his body.
These historical cases remind us that what Tucker experienced is part of a long-standing spiritual battle that has been going on for centuries.
Biblical Insights on Spiritual Warfare
Now, let's look at what the Bible says about these kinds of attacks and how we can protect ourselves:
Psalm 91:5 assures us, "You will not fear the terror of night." This verse directly addresses the issue of night terrors and promises God's protection.
James 4:7-8 instructs us to "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." This is a powerful strategy for dealing with demonic attacks.
Ephesians 6:10-18 talks about putting on the full armor of God to stand against the schemes of the devil. This passage gives us a detailed breakdown of our spiritual armor:
Belt of truth
Breastplate of righteousness
Feet fitted with the readiness of the gospel of peace
Shield of faith
Helmet of salvation
Sword of the Spirit (which is the Word of God)
1 Peter 5:8-9 warns us to "Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith."
These scriptures remind us that we're not powerless against spiritual attacks. As believers, we have the authority of Jesus Christ to command these entities to leave.
Personal Reflections: My Journey with Demonic Attacks
I remember when I first started experiencing demonic attacks. Like Tucker, I was confused and terrified. I didn't have the biblical knowledge or spiritual maturity to understand what was happening. This led me to explore New Age practices, searching for answers in all the wrong places.
It wasn't until I had a powerful encounter with Jesus in 1995 that things changed. God gave me an intense desire to read the Bible, and as I immersed myself in His Word, I found the answers and protection I'd been seeking all along.
My experiences taught me several crucial lessons:
The importance of biblical literacy in spiritual warfare
The power of the name of Jesus in confronting demonic forces
The necessity of a personal relationship with Christ for true protection
The role of community in overcoming spiritual attacks
These lessons have shaped my ministry and my approach to helping others who face similar struggles.
The Church's Role in Spiritual Warfare
One thing that struck me about Tucker's story was his distrust of Christian pastors and his desire to read the Bible for himself. This highlights a significant issue in many churches today - a lack of biblical literacy when it comes to spiritual warfare.
As a body of believers, we need to reclaim the power and authority that Jesus gave us. The early church, as described in the book of Acts, was full of supernatural manifestations. We need to return to that level of faith and expectancy, equipping believers to stand firm against spiritual attacks.
Here are some ways the church can step up:
Provide solid biblical teaching on spiritual warfare
Create safe spaces for people to share their supernatural experiences
Offer prayer and deliverance ministries
Encourage personal Bible study and application
Foster a culture of spiritual growth and maturity
Practical Steps for Overcoming Demonic Night Terrors
If you're struggling with demonic night terrors, here are some practical steps you can take:
Immerse yourself in God's Word. Like Tucker, develop a hunger for the Bible.
Pray for protection, using scriptures like Psalm 91. Personalize these verses and declare them over your life and home.
Exercise your authority in Christ. Command the demons to leave in Jesus' name. Remember, they must obey the name of Jesus when spoken with faith and authority.
Seek support from mature believers who understand spiritual warfare. Don't try to fight this battle alone.
Cleanse your home and life of any objects or practices that might be giving the enemy a foothold. This could include occult items, certain types of music, or unhealthy relationships.
Develop a consistent prayer and worship routine. Creating an atmosphere of praise can be a powerful deterrent to demonic activity.
If the attacks persist, consider seeking help from a deliverance ministry or a pastor experienced in spiritual warfare.
The Bigger Picture: What Tucker's Experience Teaches Us
Tucker Carlson's experience brings the reality of spiritual warfare into the mainstream conversation. It's a wake-up call for the church and an opportunity for believers to step up and offer biblical solutions to those experiencing similar attacks.
Moreover, it reminds us that God can use even negative experiences to draw people closer to Him. Tucker's encounter led him to read the Bible intensively for a year and a half, transforming his spiritual life. This aligns with Romans 8:28, which tells us that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him.
The Importance of Discernment
While it's crucial to take spiritual warfare seriously, it's equally important to exercise discernment. Not every strange experience is a demonic attack, and not every problem has a spiritual root. We need to balance our awareness of the supernatural with wisdom and sound judgment.
Here are some tips for developing spiritual discernment:
Study the Bible regularly to understand God's character and ways
Pray for wisdom and discernment (James 1:5)
Seek counsel from mature believers
Test everything against Scripture (1 Thessalonians 5:21)
Be aware of your own biases and preconceptions
The Power of Testimony
Tucker Carlson's willingness to share his experience publicly is a powerful reminder of the impact of personal testimony. In Revelation 12:11, we're told that believers overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony.
By sharing our experiences with demonic attacks and how God delivered us, we can:
Encourage others who may be suffering in silence
Bring awareness to the reality of spiritual warfare
Point people towards the power and protection found in Christ
Break the stigma surrounding supernatural experiences in the church
Standing Firm in Spiritual Battles
As we wrap up, remember that demonic night terrors, while terrifying, are not insurmountable. With the power of God's Word and the authority we have in Christ, we can overcome these attacks and help others do the same.
If Tucker Carlson's story resonates with you, or if you've had similar experiences, I encourage you to dive deeper into God's Word and seek His protection. Don't let fear paralyze you - instead, let it propel you towards a deeper relationship with Jesus.
Remember these key points:
Demonic attacks are real, but so is God's protection
The Bible is our ultimate guide for understanding and overcoming spiritual warfare
We have authority in Christ to resist the enemy
Personal testimony is a powerful tool in helping others and glorifying God
The church needs to reclaim its role in equipping believers for spiritual battles
Final Thoughts
As we navigate this complex spiritual landscape, let's remain grounded in God's Word and open to His supernatural power. Whether you're a skeptic, a curious seeker, or someone who has experienced demonic attacks firsthand, I encourage you to approach this topic with an open mind and a seeking heart.
Tucker Carlson's experience has opened up a crucial conversation about the reality of spiritual warfare in our modern world. Let's use this opportunity to deepen our understanding, strengthen our faith, and reach out to those who may be struggling with similar experiences.

Transform Your Prayer Life: Unlock Spiritual Insights
Hey there, fellow spiritual seekers! Conrad here from ConradRocks.Net. Today, I want to share with you an incredible revelation that has reignited my prayer life and deepened my connection with God. It's a powerful approach to prayer that combines the timeless wisdom of the Psalms with the transformative template of the Lord's Prayer. This method isn't just a suggestion – it's a command from Jesus himself, and I'm excited to show you how it can revolutionize your spiritual journey.
The Power of Praying "After This Manner"
When Jesus taught his disciples to pray in Matthew 6, he used a specific Greek word, "houtos," which means "after this manner." It's not about reciting a rigid formula, but rather following a model or template for prayer. This approach keeps us focused on God's will, aligning our hearts with His purpose.
As I've rediscovered this method of prayer, I've noticed something amazing happening. Psalm 37:4 says, "Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." By praying the Psalms and the Lord's Prayer, we're truly delighting ourselves in God, and in turn, He's shaping the desires of our hearts to match His will.
The Sources Invloved
To fully grasp the power of this prayer method, it's crucial to understand the main sources of information we encounter during this kind of prayer:
The Word of God (Scripture)
The Spirit of Truth (Holy Spirit)
Our Heart (Internal Monologue)
Our Conscious Mind
When we pray "after this manner," we learn to discern between these sources, especially distinguishing the voice of the Holy Spirit from our own thoughts and emotions.
Building a Strong Foundation
Before diving into this deeper level of prayer, it's essential to have a solid foundation in Scripture. Jesus emphasized building our spiritual house on the rock of His teachings (Matthew 7:24-27). This foundation of biblical knowledge allows us to accurately discern the Spirit's leading and protects us from deception.
The Nuts and Bolts of Praying the Psalms and Lord's Prayer
Now, let's get practical. Here's how to apply this powerful prayer method:
Start with the Lord's Prayer as a template (Matthew 6:9-13).
Take each line slowly, meditating on its meaning.
Allow your heart to respond, addressing any objections or questions that arise.
Listen for the Spirit of Truth to bring Scripture to mind or provide insight.
Be watchful in the spirit, paying attention to any visions or impressions.
Incorporate relevant Psalms to expand on themes in the Lord's Prayer.
For example, when praying "Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name," you might:
Reflect on God's nature as a loving Father
Address any heart issues regarding your relationship with Him
Listen for the Spirit's affirmation of your identity as God's child
Visualize God's holiness and majesty
Watching in the Spirit
Ephesians 6:18 encourages us to pray "in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord's people." This watchfulness in prayer opens us up to receive visions, words of knowledge, and deeper spiritual insights.
As you pray, be attentive to:
Images or symbols that appear in your mind's eye
Scriptures that suddenly come to memory
Emotions or physical sensations that align with what you're praying
A sense of God's presence or leading
The Benefits of Praying After This Manner
Aligns our will with God's will
Increases our spiritual discernment
Deepens our understanding of Scripture
Strengthens our faith and trust in God
Enhances our ability to hear God's voice
Prepares us for more effective ministry and evangelism
Personal Reflection
Since I've returned to this method of prayer, I've experienced a renewed sense of purpose and clarity in my spiritual life. Dreams and visions from years ago are suddenly making sense, and I feel more in tune with God's calling on my life than ever before.
This approach to prayer isn't about brainwashing ourselves or vain repetition. Instead, it's an invitation to engage in a dynamic, transformative conversation with our Heavenly Father. It addresses the objections of our hearts, renews our minds, and opens us up to the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Conclusion
I encourage you to try this method of praying the Psalms and Lord's Prayer for yourself. Start with just a few minutes a day and see how it transforms your prayer life. As you practice, you'll develop greater discernment and a deeper connection with God.
Remember, this isn't about perfection – it's about pursuing an intimate, spiritual relationship with Jesus. Be patient with yourself as you learn to distinguish between the voice of your heart, your mind, and the Holy Spirit.
I'd love to hear about your experiences as you explore this powerful prayer method. Leave a comment, or reach out to me on social media. Let's encourage one another as we dig deeper to go higher in our spiritual lives!
Beyond the Veil: Understanding Spiritual Information and Its Sources
Today, we're diving into a topic that could transform your spiritual journey—the four main sources of information in the spirit realm.
Introduction
Have you ever wondered where the insights you receive during prayer or meditation come from? As someone who has been born again since 1995 and spent countless hours praying for others and myself, I've learned the importance of discernment. Understanding the source of spiritual information is crucial, whether it’s God, demons, our own hearts, or projections from others. Let’s explore these sources together.
The Main Sources of Spiritual Information
Demons: The Deceptive Enemy
Demons are real, and their main goal is to mislead and draw us away from the truth. They often present false information to waste our time and thwart the gospel. In Deuteronomy 5:09, we learn about the generational curses that demons carry out. These familiar spirits know our family history well, which is why they can be so deceptive.
In my book, "Open Your Eyes: My Supernatural Journey," I recount an experience where I cast out a demon that manifested as a black cloud. This was a powerful reminder of Jesus’ words in Mark 16:17, where believers are empowered to cast out demons. Developing discernment over time is key to recognizing when we are dealing with these spiritual entities.
Our Own Deceitful Hearts
Jeremiah 17:9 tells us that "the heart is deceitful above all things." Our subconscious mind can project thoughts that seem spiritual but aren't divinely inspired. Imagine your mind as a ship's captain and your heart as the crew. If the crew doesn’t align with the captain’s orders, chaos ensues. Similarly, if our hearts aren’t aligned with God, we become double-minded and unstable in our spiritual pursuits.
Praying consistently and purifying our hearts, as James 4:8 suggests, helps us discern whether our insights are internal or divinely inspired. I've explored this in depth in my podcast, "Communing with Our Hearts: Real Positive Life Change."
Projections from Others
We are always projecting something in the spirit, consciously or unconsciously. Consider it similar to how we can sometimes sense when someone is looking at us from across a room even without seeing them directly. This intuitive sense can also be likened to the way our prayers are deposited into the spirit realm, as seen in Revelation 5:8 and 8:4, where the prayers of the saints are described as rising like incense before God.
A personal experience I had involved perceiving a woman’s prayer for a specific house while at a restaurant. This highlighted how we can pick up on spiritual projections from others, which can be used for spirit-led evangelism.
God: The Ultimate Source
The ideal source of spiritual information is God Himself. He can communicate through internal voices, visions, and even dreams, as we see throughout Scripture. When God reveals information, it’s often a significant event that demands action, like in Acts 13 or Acts 16.
I recall attending a prophetic conference where God’s voice was so loud internally that it drowned out everything else. These experiences have taught me that God’s voice can be as powerful as many waters (Revelation 14:2) or as gentle as a still small voice (1 Kings 19:12).
Developing Discernment
To better navigate these sources, we must:
Read the Bible Daily: Familiarize yourself with God's word, which is a discerner of thoughts and intentions (Hebrews 4:12).
Develop a Consistent Prayer Life: Engage fully in prayer, listening for God’s voice.
Keep a Spiritual Journal: Document your spiritual experiences to track your growth in discernment.
Seek Godly Mentorship: Find a mature believer to guide you and provide accountability.
Discerning the source of spiritual information enriches our prayer life and spirit-led evangelism. By understanding these four sources, we align ourselves more closely with God’s truth. Practice patience, seek counsel, and may your journey be marked by wisdom and a deeper connection with God.
Thank you for being a part of my life and supporting what we are doing with the "Coffee with Conrad" Podcast. My passion is for you to develop a spiritual relationship with the biblical Jesus.
The Apostle Paul, in his letter to Timothy, emphasizes the importance of diligence and practice in our spiritual lives:
"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." (2 Timothy 2:15, KJV)
This verse underscores the need for deliberate effort in our spiritual growth. It's not enough to merely read the Bible; we must study it, meditate upon it, and apply its teachings to our lives. This requires intentional practice and a willingness to stretch ourselves beyond our comfort zones.
Consider the analogy of learning to drive a car. One doesn't become a proficient driver by simply reading the manual or watching others drive. It requires hands-on experience, practice, and a willingness to face challenging situations on the road. Similarly, our spiritual growth demands active participation and consistent effort.
The Journey from Novice to Master
Let's explore the stages of spiritual growth using the analogy of learning to drive:
1. Philosopher (The Manual Reader): At this stage, we're acquainted with the basics of faith. We read the Bible, attend church, and have a general understanding of Christian principles. However, our knowledge is largely theoretical.
2. Initiate (The Learner): Depending on what our gifting is, we start stepping out and applying it under the guidance of a mentor. Or we may exercise this gift in the marketplace, learn from it, and then discuss it with our mentor later.
3. Disciple (The Practitioner): At this stage, we're actively living out our faith. We're not just hearers of the Word, but doers also, as James 1:22 (KJV) instructs: "But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves." We're developing our spiritual gifts and finding ways to serve in the church and community.
4. Master (The Mentor): Having matured in faith and practice, we now guide others. We're fulfilling the Great Commission as stated in Matthew 28:19-20 (KJV): "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you."
This progression mirrors not only our personal growth but also our responsibility to make disciples. As we grow, we're called to help others along their spiritual journey.
Identifying and Nurturing Your Calling
Each believer has a unique calling and spiritual gifts. The Apostle Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 12:4-6 (KJV):
"Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all."
To identify and nurture your calling:
1. Pray for guidance and discernment.
2. Study the Scriptures to understand spiritual gifts.
3. Reflect on your passions and the areas where you feel most fulfilled when serving.
4. Seek feedback from mature believers who know you well.
5. Try serving in different capacities to discover where you're most effective.
Once you've identified your calling, it's crucial to work on it daily. This could involve:
- Studying relevant Scriptures
- Practicing your gift (e.g., praying for people for healing or words of knowledge)
- Seeking opportunities to serve using your gift
- Reflecting on your experiences and learning from them
The Role of Mentors
Mentorship is a crucial aspect of spiritual growth. A good mentor can guide you, challenge you, and help you develop your gifts. When seeking a mentor, look for someone who:
1. Demonstrates the signs of a believer as mentioned in Mark 16:17-18 (KJV): "And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover."
2. Is gifted in the same area as your calling. If you're called to healing ministry, seek a mentor with a proven gift of healing. If your gift is words of knowledge, find a mentor who excels in this area.
3. Exhibits spiritual maturity and a Christ-like character.
4. Is willing to invest time in your growth and development.
Remember, mentorship is a relationship. Be open to guidance, willing to learn, and ready to apply what you're taught.
Taking Action: From Knowledge to Practice in the Marketplace
As we conclude, it's crucial to emphasize that knowledge without action is fruitless. James 2:17 (KJV) reminds us, "Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone." Here are practical steps to move from knowledge to action with the gift of words of knowledge:
1. Set Specific Goals: Identify areas where you want to grow spiritually and set measurable goals. For example, aim to step out in faith with a word of knowledge in a public setting once a week.
2. Create a Daily Practice: Dedicate time each day to work on your calling. This could be through study, prayer, or practical application of your gift.
3. Seek Opportunities in the Marketplace: Look for divine appointments in everyday places like grocery stores, parks, or your workplace.
4. Start Small: Begin by sharing simple impressions, like sensing someone needs encouragement about a specific situation.
5. Reflect and Adjust: After each attempt, reflect on what happened. What did you learn? How can you improve?
6. Stay Accountable: Share your experiences with a mentor or trusted friend who can provide guidance and encouragement.
7. Embrace Challenges: Growth often comes through challenges. Don't be discouraged by mistakes or misses. Each attempt is a learning opportunity.
Practical Example
Imagine you're at a coffee shop and feel prompted that someone nearby is struggling with a shoulder injury. Here's how you might approach the situation:
1. Pray silently, asking God for confirmation and wisdom.
2. Look around for someone who might be favoring their shoulder or showing signs of discomfort.
3. Approach the person kindly and say something like, "Excuse me, this might sound strange, but I felt I should ask if you're having trouble with your shoulder. I believe God wants you to know He sees your pain and wants to heal you."
4. If they confirm, offer to pray for them right there. If not, graciously thank them for their time.
Conclusion
The journey of spiritual growth and discipleship is ongoing. It requires deliberate effort, consistent practice, and a willingness to stretch beyond our comfort zones. As we progress from philosophers to initiates, from disciples to masters, we not only grow in our own faith but also become equipped to guide others.
Remember the words of the Apostle Paul in Philippians 3:13-14 (KJV): "Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."
Let these words inspire you to press on, to stretch yourself daily, and to actively pursue the calling God has placed on your life. As you do, you'll find yourself growing in faith, impacting others, and experiencing the joy of walking in God's purpose for your life.
Now, armed with this knowledge and encouragement, it's time to take action. What step will you take today towards growing in the gift of words of knowledge, or healing? How will you stretch yourself and move from merely reading about this gift to actively using it in the marketplace? The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Take that step today, and watch as God works through your faithfulness to transform not only your life but the lives of those around you.
Today on Coffee with Conrad, I had the incredible privilege of interviewing Alexandria Butler, a woman with a powerful testimony of God's redemptive love and the transformative power of the Holy Spirit. Alexandria's story is one that will inspire and encourage you, no matter where you are on your spiritual journey.
Growing up surrounded by the darkness of witchcraft and bitterness, Alexandria seemed destined for a life of pain and negativity. But God had other plans. Through a divine encounter on Interstate 35, Jesus met Alexandria in her brokenness and radically changed the trajectory of her life.
Here is the Audio Podcast Version of our interview:
As Alexandria shared her story with me, I was struck by the parallels in our own testimonies. Like Alexandria, I too struggled with demonic torment as a child. But also like her, I had grandparents and relatives who sowed seeds of faith into my life from a young age. Those seeds, planted in love, bore fruit years later as we each surrendered our lives to Christ.
One of the most impactful parts of Alexandria's testimony was hearing about her journey to being baptized in the Holy Spirit. Despite facing opposition and confusion, Alexandria persisted in her pursuit of this precious gift. And when she finally received it, the change in her life was undeniable. She went from being burdened and heavy to feeling 100 pounds lighter - delivered and set free to live in victory.
Being filled with the Holy Spirit also empowered Alexandria for ministry. No longer content to sit on the sidelines, she began actively sharing the gospel, laying hands on the sick, and casting out demons. Her story is proof that God wants to use all of us to advance His Kingdom, if we will simply yield to His Spirit.
Alexandria's testimony carries an important message for the Church today. We need the power of the Holy Spirit to live the Christian life. We need His anointing to be effective witnesses for Christ. My prayer is that her story will light a fire in your heart, that you too would seek after the fullness of the Spirit.
Here is the Live Interview:
I also hope this interview encourages any grandparents listening. Never underestimate the importance of sowing spiritual seeds into your grandchildren's lives. Your prayers and godly example can make an eternal difference, even if you don't see the fruit right away. Keep planting and watering, knowing God will bring the growth.
I'm so grateful Alexandria took the time to share her story with us. I know it will be a blessing and an inspiration to all who hear it. My friends, if you don't know the power of the Holy Spirit in your life, I encourage you to cry out to God for it. He is faithful to fill those who hunger and thirst for Him. And that fullness is available for you today.
A Powerful Testimony of God's Transforming Love: Richard James Dixon Jr.'s Story
Recently on the "Coffee with Conrad" podcast, I had the privilege of interviewing Richard James Dixon Jr. from Real Talk Interactive about his powerful testimony of how Jesus Christ transformed his life. This inspiring story is a must-listen for any Christian who loves to hear about the supernatural power of God at work.
Richard grew up in a godly family with six siblings. His parents raised them in holiness, but Richard admits he was a mischievous child who acted out and put his parents through a lot. Even at a young age though, he felt the conviction of the Holy Spirit whenever he misbehaved.
One pivotal moment came when God allowed Richard to see how exhausted his mother was with his behavior. It broke his heart and he realized he needed to change. Around this time, Richard also experienced sexual abuse from someone outside the family. This left deep scars that affected him mentally for years to come.
As he matured, Richard threw himself into church activities like playing drums, teaching Sunday school and leading youth ministry. But inside he still struggled with the trauma of his abuse. After a girlfriend tragically died, Richard turned cold-hearted, feeling like he was toxic and nobody should be close to him.
But God wasn't done with Richard's story. He brought Jennifer into Richard's life, a woman who persistently pursued a relationship with him. Though Richard resisted at first, God made it clear that Jennifer was the one for him. Their marriage became a powerful ministry and testimony of God's love.
During the pandemic, God laid it on Richard's heart to start Positiv Impact, a non-profit dedicated to providing positive atmospheres and support for at-risk youth in the community. Having experienced the breakdown of the family firsthand, Richard knows how vital it is for the church to minister outside its four walls.
One of Richard's greatest joys is seeing the darkness lift from these young people's faces as they experience the love of God through his ministry. As he vulnerably shared about his own suicidal thoughts in the past, Richard testified that it was only by God's grace and the support of family and church that he made it through.
No matter what poor decisions we make or what evil comes against us, Richard's story is proof that God can redeem anything for our good and His glory. If you feel lost, broken or too far gone, know that nothing is too hard for God. He is ready and willing to transform your life just like He did for Richard.
We serve a big God who wants to do big things through His people. But too often, we get stuck playing small because we let doubt and unbelief creep in.
In my recent podcast "Speaking to Your Mountain," we dug into Mark 11 where Jesus tells His disciples to have faith in God and speak to their mountains. This isn't some name-it-and-claim-it nonsense either. Jesus is calling us to an authentic life of kingdom dominion and authority.
See, the world tries to manifest things through mental gymnastics and "laws of attraction." But we don't have to pour from an empty cup. We have the living God inside of us! When we nurture our relationship with the Lord and stay planted in His Word, mountain-moving faith becomes second nature.
But there's a catch - Jesus makes it crystal clear that unforgiveness will cut the power line. We can't expect to walk in supernatural authority while harboring offense, anger or resentment in our hearts. That's a non-negotiable for kingdom operatives.
I'm telling you, when we get this forgiveness piece down and anchor ourselves in the uncompromising truth of God's Word, we become unstoppable forces for the kingdom!

... in the Christian Community. In this episode, I illustrate what the Illusion of Competence is, and how we can rectify this problem in our own lives.
Introduction:
Join Conrad for a thought-provoking discussion on the illusion of competence and how it can affect Christians. Conrad talks about how we may think we have assimilated information, but in reality, it is not internalized and a part of who we are. He also discusses confirmation bias and the importance of testing ideas and theories in the real world. In this episode, Conrad uses scripture to highlight the importance of putting knowledge into practice and the dangers of just being a hearer of the word. Don't miss this insightful conversation on the illusion of competence and how to overcome it.

Interview with Healing Evangelist Garry Nesbit on what it is like to live the Supernatural Christian lifestyle. We talk about the supernatural - spiritual things of God.
Even if they are called to do what God has them to do, Christians may have a hard time. In this video, I recount how God gave me many confirmations to go to Florida. I didn't wanna go, my family didn't want me to go. But God wanted me to go. I had so many confirmations that I would make Gideon blush.
When I finally got to Florida I went through a lot of tribulation. I had lots of problems. I talk about it in this video. It was for five prophetic words.
The reason I emphasize having a spiritual relationship with the biblical Jesus is because it is not emphasized in the church. Biblical knowledge is. Theology is. Doctrine is. Morality is. But a spiritual, personal, loving relationship is ignored for the most part.
I know this, because of my engagements in social media and out on the streets. People are filled with head knowledge about Jesus, but not experiencing the spiritual, loving, personal relationship with Jesus.
So let’s dig into doing more than just believing in Jesus, but Loving Him!
Did you know that Jesus will manifest Himself to those that love Him?
"He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him." John 14:21
Did you know that Jesus said He would make His abode with those that love Him?
"Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him". John 14:23
(Notice Jesus said “love” and not “believe” - more on that later.)
The Scriptures point to Jesus - The Author and finisher of our faith
“Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.” John 5:39
"Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God." Hebrews 12:2
When I think of John 5:39, I think of how the menu points to the meal. The biblical text points to the Author. God, which is a spirit, breathed the word through holy men of God. They were inspired to write the text. Inspirited means “in spirit”.
This passage has particular relevance to me and I refer to this in my book “Open Your Eyes, My Supernatural Journey”. One day after an Outreach with Bread of Life Church I was in the back of the sanctuary and I sensed the presence of God. The presence of God was emanating from the altar. I was determined to get into the fullness of His presence even though I was afraid.
I pressed forward against my fear at a snail’s pace. I finally got to the front row. Then something invisible to me pushed me down in the front seat. At that time in the spirit I heard really loudly.
“Ye search the scriptures, because ye think that in them ye have eternal life; and these are they which testify of ME”.
When He said “ME” it was very loud and pronounced. It was at that moment that I realized I needed to put my trust in Jesus the person. I need to love Jesus the person. The scriptures point to Jesus the Person.
I knew this previously, but not on the scale it was being presented. It became a quickened word within my spirit that forever changed my life.
Know About Jesus versus the Personal Relationship with Jesus
You can read about John F. Kennedy all you want. You can talk to his family members. You can even tour his memorial. But you don’t know him until you have had dinner with the man!
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.(Revelation 3:20)
This is what Christian believers need to know. We can read about Jesus all we want. We can have bible studies and make several trips to Israel. But none of that compares to having a personal, loving relationship with Him.
What happens to those with good works that only believe in Jesus?
What happens if people have good theology according to man, good morals, believe Jesus is Lord, and good doctrine, that have no loving relationship with Jesus?
"21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." Matt 7:21-23
Notice the people here, call Jesus Lord. They think they are doing His will. They are even prophesying and doing mighty works, but Jesus doesn’t have a personal relationship with them.
Let’s look at it from another angle. Let's say you are on death row, and your only hope is a presidential pardon. You know the name of the president. You know his policies and laws. You know what he says and does. Well, so does everybody else. You're much more likely to get a presidential pardon if the president knows you personally.
It is more than belief - it is Love!
Have you ever noticed that when people evangelize, they ask if people want to go to heaven when they die? They totally leave Jesus out of the equation?
This lowers the relationship to a Jesus that is far off, and not one that abides in us, or manifests Himself to us. Jesus used the words ‘love’ and not ‘believe’ in the above passages about manifesting and making His abode.
When we believe Jesus, we should believe what he said. And He said to love him with all our heart, mind, and strength.
Having a personal relationship with Jesus is not knowing about a God that is far off. Loving Jesus is having a relationship where you never break fellowship (John 15). He abides in us, so He is constantly with us.
What happens if I Only believe in Jesus but I am not loving Jesus?
"But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." Hebrews 11:6
I actually get asked a lot about the relationship aspect of our Christian faith. If you feel like God is far off. If you feel like your prayers are hitting a ceiling of brass. Then seek Him diligently.
Seek him earnestly in bible reading and be attentive to the spirit of God.
This may require some prayer and fasting.
If you seek God for five minutes and then turn on the television, you are missing the point. I came to the end of my rope. It was when I was at the end of my rope that I became SERIOUS about seeking God. Then God met me on my living room floor.
