The Spirit of Truth blasts presuppositions

The Spirit of Truth Blasts Presuppositions
Here are a couple of presuppositions that if you are not wary, will actually fight the Spirit of Truth.
-”The popular argument” - ‘Everyone believes this so it must be true’.
Even a cursory reading of the bible will show you that the more popular the doctrine the more likelihood that it is wrong.  The popular doctrine was to ignore the suffering servant passages when Jesus showed up.  In hindsight, we can see that was totally wrong.
-”Trust the experts” -  ‘They have P.h.d. After their name, so they have to be right’.
Paul was a top theologian with the bible practically memorized.  He sat at the feet of Gamaliel and would be a P.h.d. If they were handing them out back then.  Remember Paul, was killing Christians using the bible as his authority.  He then met the Author in Acts 9.
I find it interesting that God used fisherman and a bunch of people that looked drunk on the day of Pentecost to represent His Kingdom - not P.h.d.’s
Let the Spirit of Truth guide you.  Here are some scriptures to ponder on.
Acts 4:13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.
John 16:13  Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
1 John 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
